1. Batu Caves

Location: Gombak, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor

The stairway Batu Caves has a colourful new appearance and is perfectly breathtaking. Dark Cave is one of Kuala Lumpur downtown ‘s largest caverns on a hill 15 km north. The path is 2 km long and consists of seven main pieces called A to F and the Grand Hall. It has a special guano-driven ecosystem, which has a considerable environmental value, rich in science and learning.

Dark Cave also has its own peculiar attribute with splendid cave structures that have shaped aeons with Mother Nature. The protected grotto is part of a restoration project in which public educational and adventure tours are carried out. There is also rock climbing in the Damai Extreme Park here.

2. Sky Mirror (Secret Island)

Location: 45000 Kuala Selangor, Selangor
Operation hour: 24 hours

The shallow waters of this ‘hidden island’ represent the sky in all its glory, providing countless photo opportunities, and Kuala Selangor Beach is regarded best as Mirror of the sky. It is also a sanctuary for many marine species and the most common are sea and baby clams abundantly found in sand. The island is a great holidays destination.

1. Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park

Location: Kampung Kuantan, 45000 Bestari Jaya, Selangor
Operation hour: everyday 7:45pm – 10:30pm

Without discovering the beauty and miracles of the fireflies in the middle of this little village, a journey to Kuela Selangor is unfinished. Take a typical sampan (small boat) into the dark and the thousands of sparkling fireflies will stun you. Make sure this is not during the full moon, if you intend to come here. No moon, better! No moon, better! The price per sample is RM50 and can fit up to 4 people.

 

2. Up Town Mines Wonderland

Location: Jalan Dulang, Mines Wellness City, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor
Operation hour: 10am–3am (Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun)  | 10am–10pm (Tue-Thu)

This themed park has a special snow house where guests can not only cool down but freeze during a wild igloo. There is a music fountain dance, a roller coaster park, a mini-golf club, jet-skiing facilities and a water taxi ride across the canals connecting to the surrounding town centre and the shopping centre.
