Shopping in Pahang, particularly for traditional crafts and cultural souvenirs, can be an exciting adventure. However, in Kuantan city centre, in particular, there are still places to shop for new products. 

1. Asian Cultural Village

Location: Level 3, First World Hotel Plaza (opposite First World Café)
Operation hour: everyday 

The Culture Village comprises 12 stalls representing numerous countries and their exclusive products, selling merchandise ranging from Asian handicrafts, souvenirs and presents. A decent deal is the Japanese dolls as well as the beads and accessories from India and the Korean snacks are especially tasty.

 

2. Country’s Tid-Bits & Candies Cottage

Location: Lot 3.25, 3rd Floor, Genting Skyway Complex
Operation hour: everyday 9am – 5pm

Located at Gohtong Jaya Genting Skyway Station, this store sells a range of preserved fruit titbits, nuts, cookies, snacks, jelly beans, cracker biscuits. To mimic mini-mountains, the eye-catching multi-hued candies and local treats are stacked on tables; prices are not necessarily inexpensive, but the large variety of sweets available can ensure that you are fulfilled with sweet tooth cravings.
