NIGHT SUPPER
This all comes out of Kelantan. For kerabu rice and even nasi air, the same applies. It can be said that the food is mostly tasty and fun to try in Kelantan. Here’s a list of Terengganu foods you absolutely have to try while you’re there:
1. Nasi Sup Perut Air Asam Daging Bakar
Location: Near Pasar MPKB, Kota Bharu, Kelantan
Operation hour: opens till latenight
This is a mouthful to pronounce, but we can guarantee you that it is nice for every rainy night to taste this dish. Their main menu and house specialties were Nasi Sup Perut, Air Asam and Daging Bakar. We suggest that you order Daging Bakar, which was not too chewy or too delicate, just right in texture, and it came with sweet-sourish air asam (lime juice) that went well with the meat. This is the vital component of the Daging Bakar dish. The beef stock was soft and just delicious.

This restaurant serves its customers both Malaysian and Western cuisine. The menu was very detailed and you’re going to have trouble choosing what to eat. There was laksam, fried rice of various sorts, and chicken chop. As it came with keropok, fried egg, chicken and sambal belacan, the food portion for Nasi Goreng Kelate was fairly large.
