3. Pulau Pangkor

5. Seen Hock Yeen Confucius Temple

Location: Kampung Cik Zainal, 31200 Chemor, Perak

Seen Hock Yeen Temple is a common temple for Confucius devotees wishing for good health, a good marriage partner, to pray for the scholastic success of children, or to eradicate problems. The temple, which has been enlarged and upgraded over the decades since its foundation in 1980, contains multiple elaborately decorated prayer halls, pavilions, gazebos and paved walkways constructed around a lake and a lotus pond, formerly the site of a tin mine.

Confucius Temple of Seen Hock Yeen is well-known for bringing luck to students who are going to sit for exams.

6. Taiping Zoo

Then go for Taiping Zoo & Night Safari if you happen to be near Taiping or decide to visit a zoo in Perak. Be fascinated by the diverse species and by visiting the zoo, get a glimpse of its night safari. This is Malaysia’s oldest zoo and it was founded in 1961. You can go for a zoo tour during the day or a night safari. Take note that if you want a night safari, you are not allowed to carry flash cameras and flashlights.

7. Muzium Perak

The Perak Museum is rich in ethnology, history, nature, archaeology and ethamobology collections, which are partially categorised as rare or endangered collections older than a hundred years, such as animal fossils such as binturong and pulasan, animal skulls and skeletons, and now scarce or extinct earthen pottery.

9. Royal Belum Rainforest

10. Tempurung Cave

Location:  Pusat Pelancongan Gua Tempurung, 31600 Gopeng, Perak

One of the places that you need to visit if you go to Perak is Tempurung Cave. This Tempurung Cave is situated in Gopeng, Perak, 24 km from the city of Ipoh. This shell cave is unique since it has numerous natural carvings since 8000 BC that are known to have occurred. There are basic amenities for your convenience, such as bridges, lighting, and public services for those of you who wish to visit this area.

3. Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreation Park

Location: Jalan Brash, 30350 Ipoh, Perak

Locals refer to it as Ipoh Pologround. Good place to get fit your body. Such a breathtaking place that full of oxygen comes from plant & tree there. Street food at its best, there’s a place you can eat. Various range of delicacies to choose from. Do come during weekend if you are alone, as many people comes. The vibe at night is beautiful.

4. Pasar Malam Taman Pertama

Location: Taman Pertama, 30100 Ipoh, Perak
Operation hour: Friday, 5:30pm – 10:30pm

If you are hunting for local food, a lot of nice food available here and one of the largest night market near Ipoh area with all kinds of yummy street food at a reasonable price. Very crowded and supportive nite life in positive way.

5. Leaning Tower

The Leaning Clock Tower was built in 1885 as a landmark in Teluk Intan. This Leaning Tower was originally served by the British as a water tank tower, but modified after the Changkat Jong water tank was constructed. This 100-year-old tower, with 110 steps shaped like the Tower of Pisa in Italy, has an altitude of 85 feet and is sure to be an attraction while visiting Teluk Intan. This beauty makes the Leaning Tower ideal as a family picture venue.

6. Night Safari Zoo Taiping

The Night Safari activity available at Taiping Zoo is the first in Malaysia. Night Safari allows visitors to see active wildlife at night in a natural setting. Visitors are required to minimize the noise so that they can hear the sounds of animals and do not disturb the peace here.

7. Heritage Buildings

Back in colonial times, the British had a significant impact on the region. Ipoh maintains its colonial beauty. Any of these houses look much more stunning under their lights at night. A few nightly buildings worth seeing include; Station of the Ipoh Railway, Dewan Bandaran Ipoh (Hall of Ipoh Town), Tower of the Birch Clock Ipoh, and Bridge Riverwalk

8. Gerbang Malam Ipoh

There’s a strong night market. The street is lined with many restaurants, biscuit shops, adding to the busy atmosphere especially on weekend. Some of the stalls selling relatively cheap clothes, shoes and electronic accessories. Deffinitey a nice place to hangout in Ipoh at late night.

9. Taiping Lake Gardens

Location: Jalan Pekeliling, Taman Tasik Taiping, 34000 Taiping

The Taiping Lake Gardens is the first public garden that was built in Malaysia under British rule. Located near Bukit Larut, the garden is equidistant from the centre of the town and the Taiping Zoo.

10. Kinta Riverfront IpohBulatan Amanjaya (Meru Raya Park)

Meru Raya Park (formerly known as Bulatan Amanjaya) is slightly further away from Ipoh city. The largest roundabout in Ipoh is Meru Raya Park. For numerous sports such as jogging, stage functions, children’s playground, and cycling, the vast area on this roundabout has been used.
