3. Pantai Batu Buruk

Location: 20400, Terengganu

Batu Buruk Beach is quite lively with a variety of interesting activities. Here you can have a picnic, you can also buy food that is widely traded around this beach such as flour dipped fish, fish satay, crackers, and many more.

Also the opportunity to ride a creatively decorated horse-drawn carriage while photographing to your heart’s content.

Facilities are also available such as food courts, jogging paths and a children’s playground

4. Lata Belatan Waterfall

Location: Besut, 22200, Terengganu

Come to Lata Belatan Waterfall. You can take a bath here without worry as the water is not very deep or rocky. The water flow is also not fast.

What adds to the fun of bathing here is because of its relatively wide river water and clear water conditions. Not only that, this waterfall is also complete with facilities that can maximize your  fun here, namely water slides.

5. Pulau Redang

Location: Kuala Nerus District, Terengganu

One of the largest islands off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Here you will be served with the beauty of clear waters rich in coral reefs that are said to reach up to 500 species! Their marine life is interesting enough to be explored for those of you who are good at scuba diving or snorkeling.

6. Tasik Kenyir

Location: Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu

Tasik Kenyir it’s one of the biggest man-made lakes in the whole of Southeast Asia. They are called man-made islands because they were originally mountains but drowned in water and thus, formed the islands.

Tasik Kenyir isn’t just your ordinary lake. if you’re already planning to go to Tasik Kenyir, activities that you can do is go to Lasir Waterfall, explore the Bewah Cave, play with fishes at Kelah Fish santuary, Bathe with rescued elephants and visit the bird and orchid park.

7. Chemerong Waterfall

Location:  Hutan Simpan Pasir Raja, 23000, Dungun, Terengganu

Chemerong Waterfall is one of the fascinating places in Terengganu that is unmatched by any other waterfall location. It is the vertical style drop, is situated in the remote area and needs to trek to get there, there are many bathing pools and there are good camping facilities, as well as the best place to picnic and enjoy nature.

8. Kapas Island

A stunning, peaceful island with nice beaches, calm seas and some simple housing near to the mainland. The best snorkelling spots are a little offshore where it is possible to plan boat trips.

9. National Park Terengganu

The total area of Taman Negara is 4,343 km2 and it is one of the oldest deciduous rainforests in the world, believed to be over 130 million years old. A canopy walkway, Gua Telinga, Lata Berkoh, includes attractions located near Kuala Tahan. The tropical rainforest, birdwatching or jungle trekking can be appreciated by tourists and the river views along the Tahan River.

 

10. Tasik Puteri Recreational Centre

Location: Bukit Besi, Terengganu

Beautiful lake with crystal clear water. Worth stop by pay a visit. Located on the hilltop, best place for chill. Don’t miss the waterfalls. Also a good place for young kids and for people who love extreme activities. The pool was so deep and the cliff quite high for diving activity

3. Waterfront Kuala Terengganu

Location: Jalan Balik Bukit, 20300 Kuala Terengganu

Waterfront Kuala Terengganu houses many eateries and cafes that serve a variety of interesting local and international menus to try while looking at the scenery around the calm flowing waters of the Terengganu River.

4. Bukit Panorama

Bukit Panorama offers you are fascinating view, quite and peaceful place. You can see the view whole city of kuala from the top and that is the only reason you want to visit this place. Do not miss the opportunity to take pictures to your heart’s content with a beautiful panorama. Reminder, the road is quite narrow, please drive carefully.

5. Terengganu Draw Bridge

This is the first drawbridge in South East Asia and is a landmark in Kuala Terengganu. As well as other views, including night and sunrise, it can be photographed from the Kampung China parking lot. You can see a stunning view of Terengganu from the tower, take photos and buy souvenirs.

6. Pulau Warisan Kuala Terengganu

There is a canal and several bridges that connect this man-made land and island. At the end of this canal there is a curved bridge that is one of the landmarks here. This island was created to house the cultural, artistic and food materials that are the heritage of the people of Terengganu.

At night, the beauty will be adorned with the glow of colorful lights, further enhanced by river cruise activities that pass through Wan Man Island.

 

7. Rantau Abang

One of the popular beaches in Terengganu is Pantai Rantau Abang. This beach is popular not only because of its beautiful beaches, and also a place where turtles lay their eggs (spawning season is between March and August). And this beach will be visited by Penyu Belimbing and Penyu Agar at night.

Other activities are, visit Turtle Santuary Rantau Abang; adult turtles and baby turtles kept in this center. Other than that, Turtle Stone; the shape of a rock shaped like a turtle

 

8. Batu Buruk Island

There’s a strong night market from 3pm to 7pm every Friday. This gorgeous beach is only 1 km from the city centre and can be reached by walking. Pantai Buruk is also a popular spot for walking and a nice place to explore, particularly in the evening and night. This is probably the cleanest and largest beach in the city of Kuala Terengganu.

 

9. Dapo Pata Uptown

Location: PT 31964, Kg.Tok Jembal, 21000 Kuala Nerus, Terengganu

Open from 5am until 2am. Uptown Dapo Pata New Attraction in Terengganu. Uptown Kontena, a beachfront bazaar site, where visitors can enjoy hearty meals by Tok Jembal Beach while breathing in the fresh air of the beach breeze. The scenery here is very beautiful. So do not forget to bring a camera. Containers that provide food and beverage services in Uptown These containers are named Dapo Pata which means beach kitchen.

10. Dataran Shahbandar

This place is a great place to relax with family and friends. At night this square will be more beautiful and beautiful with the light of a lamp. This area is not only a public park with giant screen facilities but also one of the main areas for sales carnivals or major state events. There are always various events going on in this square.
